I was busy today. Well, as “busy” as playing with vodka can be. I’ll save the blood orange stuff for another time, but since this won’t be ready for about 3 months, it must be revealed:
I’m throwing together a new batch of almond infused vodka, due to wife and friend obsession with this particular infusion (to be fair, it’s quite tasty). I’m very partial to Trader Joe’s, especially for their fine selection of nuts. A 1-pound bag of raw almonds for $5! That’s a fine bargain.
I was asked about how finely to chop. It’s not quite rocket science, or really sciency at all–just chopchop for a bit. If you have a meat tenderizer you can also smash em.
Due to popular demand, I am actually whipping up a double batch. However, at the cinnamon stage, I plan on only doing half that way to see how they compare. I also added a bit extra vanilla this time just cause.
