A few cocktails!

For those not in the know, Boston is painfully cold right now. What better way to wile the winter away than some fancy cocktails!? This is how the wife and I managed our evening:

Clockwise, we have: A rich chocolate martini, almond-berry fizz, daikon cooler, and dry cinnamon cordial. All were well received, and a few remixed for additional enjoyment. Read on for full recipes (all are quite simple).

Rich Chocolate Martini

Leave chocolate vodka in freezer for at least a few hours. Shake well and strain into a small glass. Garnish with half a truffle (or chocolate shavings). Top with cream if desired.

Almond-Berry Fizz

Fill a rocks glass (or similar small glass) with ice and add almond infused vodka. Fill with soda water and add a splash of cranberry juice.

Daikon Cooler

Fill a rock glass with ice and add first three ingredients. Stir lightly, top with soda water, and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Dry Cinnamon Cordial

Fill cordial or shooter with cinnamon infused vodka and serve neat.
